Rules for participation in the international online competition "Flower Dress 2025"

The participant is obliged to pay the registration fee within 2 days from the date of approval of the application. By paying the registration fee, you confirm your participation, as well as that you have read and agree with these rules. Registration fee 175eu
The registration fee is not refundable if the person who paid cannot take part in the competition for any reason, including force majeure.
Application system for participation in the competition:
Anyone with at least 6 months of experience in floristry and/or with a floristry education can apply for participation.
Your social media account must be open during the application and the competition.
After reviewing the application, but before paying the registration fee, the organizers have the right to refuse your participation without explanation.

In addition to the prize places, according to the jury, the organizing committee establishes additional nominations with prizes from the organizers and sponsors of the competition.
All participants of the competition are awarded with commemorative diplomas.

What would it be like if it were created by a modern fashion designer.
Type of work
Flower outfit for a female image.
The model is an adult, not a child!
This can be a dress, a fantasy outfit, a suit (skirt + top, trousers + top, etc.)
The participant can, at his own discretion, additionally create accessories for the model, complementing the image and revealing the idea.
Technique
The choice of techniques is free (taking into account the respectful attitude to living plant material)
Materials
The organizing committee recommends that contestants use the maximum possible amount of living plant material and materials of plant origin.
The participant purchases all materials at his own expense.
Plant material in the final version of the work must dominate (at least 60% in visual perception). Additionally, it is allowed to use any types of materials of artificial and natural origin.
Guaranteed life support of living plant material — 12 hours.
Presentation of the work
Mandatory special conditions:
— The floral outfit must be functional;
— The floral outfit must be presented on the model;
— High-quality (professional) photos (300 dpi) and video
— It is forbidden to publish full materials of your work on your accounts before they are posted on social networks by the organizers of the competition. (Stories and publications that do not reveal the general idea, do not give a full idea of the work with a mandatory link to the accounts of the project organizers are allowed)
By May 31, 18:00 Moscow time, you must provide the organizers with:
Artistic video presentation of the work (no more than 59 seconds) reflecting/revealing the idea of the work and artistic concept.
Technical video presentation of the work (no more than 59 seconds): Filming of the model in motion (to demonstrate functionality: it is necessary to show that it is possible to move around in the outfit, move arms, legs, etc.); close-up shooting of parts (mandatory) and accessories (if any) from a distance of no more than 50 cm from the work, to demonstrate the technical purity of the work; 360-degree view of the work; the video should not contain embedded photographs, only a video sequence. The use of filters and special effects is prohibited in the technical video.
Photo presentation of the work (6-8 photographs, all photos on the model):
Two main competition photos (mandatory) — front view and back view, the entire work must be visible in the frame. The photos must be atmospheric and convey/reveal the idea of the participant. (Retouching of the background, additional objects in the photo, etc. is allowed, i.e. everything except the outfit and accessories)
Two additional artistic photos revealing the idea (mandatory) — general plan, any angles at will, deep retouching of the photos is allowed completely)
No less than 2 and no more than 4 photos of details and accessories that you want to draw attention to (retouching, filters, artistic processing, etc. are prohibited)
Collages are prohibited. Any retouching of outfits and accessories directly, the use of general filters, etc., is prohibited, with the exception of 2 additional artistic photos.
Adequate color correction is allowed on all photos, not distorting the real color of the materials used.

The preparation and execution time for all works for the competition is 31 days (from May 1 to May 31, 18:00)
JURY AND SYSTEM OF ASSESSING WORKS
To evaluate the competition works, the Organizing Committee invites a competent jury of professional florists with judging experience and successful experience of participating in competitions.
The judges evaluate the competition works in accordance with the criteria below.
The total score is calculated by adding the average arithmetic scores for each criterion. The maximum score is 100

Penalties:
Any violation of the terms of the competition or non-compliance of works, photos, videos with the requirements of the competition task may be grounds for penalty points or disqualification of the participant without a refund of the registration fee.
Penalty points are calculated as a percentage of the total score.
2% poor quality video
3% presence of photographs, filters and special effects in the technical video presentation.
2% poor quality photos
3% presence of unacceptable retouching, filters, etc. in the photo, in accordance with the conditions in the section «presentation of work» (adequate color correction of all photos is allowed)
3% for providing competition materials in an incomplete volume (not all according to the list)
3% for the absence of dominance of plant material
For failure to meet the deadlines for submitting all materials, the work is removed from the competition without a refund of the registration fee.
The organizers have the right to make minor changes to these rules, notifying the participants in advance.
